Andorra has provided expertise over the whole range of product development from concept to final systems testing. One of the more important concepts implemented in today’s product development cycle is design for fabrication. During the early design and analysis stages, the parameters for cost effective fabrication are included requiring knowledge of the fabrication process not only on the component level but also on the system level.

Andorra has worked with all types of component materials (glass, plastic, crystals, metal) and surface types (aspheric, spherical, diffuse, non-symmetric, etc.,) which can be fabricated by different methods such as diamond machining, injection molding or conventional polishing. Andorra has in-depth knowledge of the fabrication process and the cost-performance tradeoffs associated with using these types of components in the design.
